Trillium Health Resources Medication Look Up Tool

Main Content

Use the Medication Look Up Tool to find out if your medication is covered by Trillium Health Resources. If the medicine you are looking for is not covered, you will see an “unlisted drug” notice. You can speak with your provider about requesting a prior authorization or call Trillium Member Services with any questions or concerns at 1-877-685-2415 (TTY users should call 711).

You may search for a medication several ways:

  • You can use the alphabetical list to search by the first letter of a medication.
  • You can search by typing part of the generic (chemical) or brand (trade) names of a medication.
  • You can search by selecting the therapeutic class of the medication you are looking for.
  • Medications in tier 1 and tier 2 are found on the PDL

Trillium Health Resources utilizes the NC Medicaid Preferred Drug List (PDL), which allows NC Medicaid to obtain better prices for covered outpatient drugs through supplemental rebates. The PDL was authorized by the NC General Assembly Session Law 2009-451, Sections 10.66(a)-(d).

For medications requiring prior authorization, clinical criteria documents can be found here.

Trillium works with our enrolled pharmacies to help you access your prescribed medications. You can pick up your prescription at your local pharmacy or request your pharmacy mail or deliver your prescription to your home at no cost to you.

You can search for your local pharmacy in our Pharmacy Locator Tool. Here you will find pharmacy address, phone number(s) and a link to the pharmacy website if available.

If you have questions, call Trillium Member Services for more information at 1-877-685-2415 (TTY users should call 711).
